Day 19 - Arizona City to Tucson

Riding to Tucson we had headwinds, rain, and great vistas.

Also some excellent bicycle trails in Morana.

One of which ended unexpectedly and we had to navigate out from behind a cement plant.

Then in Tucson we rode about 20 miles on their fantastic Loop trail (which is 120 miles of trail looping around Tucson thanks to a very foresighted city employee).

We even encountered a roadrunner. Can you spot it?

And another in this picture.

The loop trail and great bridges over many washes.

And great wayfinding signage!!!

  1. Just can't get enough headwinds, can you?! Love the roadrunner-- I've never seen one, so still on my list. I did see a mailbox on CaƱada Road last week with the name Wile E. Coyote on it tho!

  2. Wow, to see how far you've biked and to think about what I did in that same timeframe... (not much).
